Course "PLATON: Interpretation of Crystal Structure Determinations"

This two-days course (16 and 17-Apr-2012) is intended for chemist who make use of the results of crystal structure determinations. Main objectives of the course are to give the background information necessary to interpret crystal structure determinations and to increase the accessibility of the large amount of information offered by a crystal structure determination.

In tutorials the use of the software package PLATON/PLUTON will be exercised.

A separate course "PLATON: Expert tool for crystallographers" is given one day later (18-Apr-2012). Further information can be found here.

Topics

Tutorials
